2026 Theme — “Texas Forward”

The 2026 program year is grounded in Civil Discourse and the Campaign for Civility. Five conferences across Texas will explore critical topics shaping the state’s future: food systems, hospitality, disaster response, workforce education, and infrastructure. Together, these conversations advance a shared vision for moving Texas forward.

The Artist in Residence Program

The Artist in Residence program merges art with civic engagement, bringing creative expression into the heart of the Lyceum’s leadership mission. Each year, a selected artist creates six original works, one per conference, and one for the overall theme of the year.

The program provides national exposure for the artist through an influential network of Texas leaders in business, government, and the nonprofit sector — while giving Lyceum members a deeper, more personal connection to each conference theme.
